Just picked up Shokz Open Fit Air, loving the open form factor.
r/beginnerrunning • The best running headphones that you'd say it's really good? ->Shokz OpenFit. Waaaaay better sound than the OpenRun Pro. I have both.
r/ultrarunning • What pods/headphones/buds do you use? ->I've had three pairs of the Openrun minis over the last ten years and used them mainly for running and cycling. I just switched to the Openfits which are over the ear earbuds so they don't have the band in the back. They are so comfortable I can have them in for hours and don't feel them at all.
r/XXRunning • Shockz OpenFit earbuds? ->I have the Shocks with the band and AirPods Pro. I use both. I prefer the AirPods with noise cancellation if I’m running at the gym, and I use the shockz for outdoor runs for safety. I personally don’t notice the band on them at all when I’m running.
r/XXRunning • Shockz OpenFit earbuds? ->Aftershokz give me a headache pretty quickly and I can't hear much anyway.
r/bikecommuting • Are open-ear earbuds the way to go for bike commuting? ->I used aftershokz. That became shokz. Def work, worn for hundreds of hours sweating in all conditions. No drama or issues
r/running • What earbuds do you use while running? ->I have both and like both, I find the open fit irritate my ears after awhile due to the way they sit on them. The open fit definitely sound better though.
r/ultrarunning • Good earbuds for Trail Running? ->Shokz openfit air are great. “*only*” 100$, great battery life, great awareness, decent enough quality. Max volume is a little low for them to be my only headphones - they get drowned out by the bus sometimes. Had a beats pair once upon a time that died the second they got moist for the first time.
r/Marathon_Training • What is the most reliable brand of running headphones that sounds great and works the best for runners? Is Shockz right? ->I got the open fit. I chose based on reviews on YouTube. Music is loud enough on my runs. I wore them for a half marathon and they stayed on fine and I don't feel them at all. The battery lasted through the whole half and had plenty of battery to spare. I can still wear a hat. When I am running outside I can hear when someone is approaching or if a vehicle is near. I love them and think they are stylish and cute. I got the pink ones and they match my ear skin tone. Downside: it's not as immersive as an experience as in bud ear phones. If I go at a busy time at the gym I can barely hear my music over the machines making the treadmill even harder.
r/XXRunning • Shockz OpenFit earbuds? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
