I can recommend liberty 4nc. Compared to airpods 2 the sound is a bit more bassy, and the quality is just a tiny bit less. And the nc is not on par but still, the 4nc is great!

I don't listen to music much ->I got myself some soundcore liberty 4 because I needed some ANC earphones with better isolation than my airpods 4 anc, and something more pocketable than my sony's wh100xm5 and I'm so impressed by that cheap ass anker's. The ANC is brutal, the sound pretty good, the battery umbeatable I only wish it had true bluetooth multi point or whatever is called, as It connects to two sources only and you must disconnect manually if you want to add another source.

Can’t recommend the best buds as I’ve not tried Sonys or Bose’s newest models. AirPods have horrific fit (generally speaking, it’s a known thing even if it works for some), no water proofing, and don’t really top any category except connection strength due to their dedicated chip. But if you are in apples ecosystem, their usability cannot be beat. Soundcore Liberty and SoundPeats make very solid budget friendlier options that can be trusted to not break in a week.
