It’s tricky.  The uppababy minu is a FANTASTIC travel stroller and we flew internationally with it - highly recommend.  I got a past version on good buy gear.  It’s just not ideal for tiny infants - it’s prob more of a 6 months +.  We had the graco version of the vista (modes nest2grow) and it’s large so it’s cumbersome in the car and I wouldn’t fly with it.  But it was very nice with the infant seat and holds tons of gear.  Ultimately we use the minu a lot and a BOB jogging stroller a lot, the big graco hasn’t made as many trips due to size.

The Uppababy Vista is great (smooth ride, great for in/out with the car seat early on, lots of storage space below, the snack tray) except it is HUGE, like takes up the entire trunk of your crossover SUV huge, and their parent organizer is terrible (velcro doesn't stay put and eventually damages the stitching on the leather grips). I keep it setup in the garage exclusively for walks around the neighborhood now. You can also almost use it as a jogger. I switched to the Uppababy Minu travel stroller in the car (bought for traveling along with the travel bag). The steering is not great but it's nice and compact and the sun shade is very large. I'll have to go back to the Vista when baby #2 arrives which will most likely mean also upgrading my car so we can all fit!! Plan all along was to give the Minu to my husband after baby #2 arrives so he can have his own stroller for the infant so that's why the double Ubbababy investment. Go to Nordstrom and look at all of them in person. Tell them what your priorities are (compact, full size, travel, multiples, etc.) and they will show you your best options and answer all of your questions. Also measure your trunk! 😅

The uppababy minu is actually not exactly cabin compatible. Lots of airlines do not allowed them on board and need to get gate checked.

I got the Uppababy Minu and it replaced my Fox- my then 3 year old had more head room and it's fantastic. I bought the snack tray and have then on all the time. One handed fold, never made a creak and fantastic canopy. I didn't like the Bugaboo having the mesh panel in the middle- waste of sun protection imo. I haven't done more than train and car, but I love it and wish the V2 was out when I got a big pram as I may have got that instead.

We have the uppababy minu and infant car seat for it. He’s 2.5 now so we don’t use the car seat and honestly didn’t use that for long so idk if it was worth it, but the minu is great. Super light/small and zips easily into a backpack you can carry on your bag and gate check. This is how we travel. I have a Cruz v2 for everyday use and wouldn’t travel with it

We have a Cruz and a minu and I wouldn’t use a minu for everyday use. It doesn’t roll through sand, dirt, non-smooth surfaces and isn’t sturdy enough to survive tons and tons of usage IMO. It also is pretty flimsy which might make it hard for a baby who isn’t a strong sitter to even sit in. It’s not as adjustable, though you can lean it back a bit, but it’s not going to be as supportive and an infant wouldn’t like being in it for long. We love it for travel but nothing else. The Cruz is a great everyday stroller and actually easier to push around as a small woman, because it steers so well. It does “off roading” so well that we’ve even taken it to the beach and it can roll through the sand 😂

I would strongly suggest not using your car seat on the airplane at that age. Just make sure they have their own seat and bring a blow up thing that goes between the edge of the seat/the back of the seat I front of you. It basically creates a bed for the kiddo. I also suggest the Minu. It’s gotten us through Europe. The Uppa Baby car seat also fits into it with adapter things you can buy separately.

We do the same! Big stroller for park and long walks, Minu is always in the car for quick trips to the store or coffee shop!

Uppababy Minu. Used it as an everyday and have travelled with it A LOT (to Italy, Florida, Dominican Republic etc) and still works well.

I don’t like my minu V2. I wish I had bought the bugaboo butterfly instead.
