False advertisement False advertisement. They advertised the the Poseidon D60 works with their app. IT DOES NOT! I contacted them and they kept saying the some D60s do not. I told them it was advertised to and they finally agreed for me to send it to them to be exchanged. They paid for 10 day, yes 10 day, shipping. Considering I ordered it off Amazon for 2 day shipping 10 day is ridiculous. Well now they have had it now for 7 days after the received it is insane. It is a shame when they make a mistake that they handle it so poorly.

Check on ULTIMEA soundbars. I have the M60 Poseidon and am extremely impressed. The D60 includes rear speakers and is under $200. I think these are incredible values. I’m coming from Samsung Q900 and Vizio SB3621.

Having peeped the Ultimea lineup based on the buzz from here, they're merely mid-level cabecillas, that will likely take the place of Vizio now that Walmart's subjugation and annexation of that brand sent them in a death spiral towards oblivion alongside Onn! I would've been satisfied with the typical "black plastic crap" sound of Ultimea & other nobodies had I not been a reporter on a university student newspaper in the early '70s for my fellow scribes introduced me to 🎖️& platinum 👂ed audio as they enthusiastically waxed rhapsodic about McIntosh, Mark Levinson & Nakamichi hardware, I ended up getting hooked on that class of audio!

Hi there, I'm actively using the D60 and I really like it, so most probably you get a bad deal if you can get it for cheap. I would advise the X40 (400 US$ , so it might be out of budget) as it has a wider front soundbar part, so you will feel that the side speaker sounds are coming from the side, not from the front only as with D60 + the up-firing speakers and bigger subwoofer can give a better experience

Hi guys - I know a lot of people hate Ultimea, but as a non-audiophile person, I was satisfied with their Poseidon D60 5.1 soundbar system in terms of sound quality, virtual Dolby Atmos surround sound. I thought about upgrading this to a 5.1.2 system with up-firing speakers (as I can't put speakers on my ceiling in the flat I rent) and saw this for about 300 usd. Does anyone have experience with this? Do the up-firing speakers gives any extra value to the whole cinema-feeling? In case someone can recommend any better 5.1.2 (I wouldn't need another 5.1 system or 7.1, thank you) soundbar systems for less than 350 usd (this is my very maximum currently for a new audio system) which supports Dolby Atmos and HDMI eArc , I'm very open-minded to any ideas. And I would like to buy only new products because of warranty purposes, so I wouldn't prefer the used speakers from marketplace as I read it in many older Reddit posts. Thank you in advance

The Skywave F40 Boom does not support it - but I'm satisfied with Dolby Atmos on my Poseidon D60

Just to update this post, I bought it in the end and I love it. Dolby Atmos is fine. The Xupmix mode is not for me, but the original is perfect. I tested 4 types of Ultimea 5.1 soundbars and so far, this is the best for the budget in my opinion. Sound is clear, bass can be strong, within the app I can basically modify everything. I was in my local store to test more expensive devices from known brands like LG, but for me those didn't feel any better (I'm not an audiophil, so maybe this is why). So in case someone in the future comes here, I can recommend this model. And please avoid the Ultimea Nova S80 model - The subwoofer had some issues when playing normal youtube videos even when bass was on the lowest option. So that was a no-no for me. Also, if someone wondering, the up-firing speakers didn't give any bog noticable difference, but the soundbar's width compared to the Aura A30 and Poseidon D60 is superior in my opinion. Poseidon D60 is fine too as a secondary speaker for my other TV, but in the future I might replace it to this same model when this gets cheaper.

Thanks for the detailed and in my experience accurate review. I bought it after finding stellar reviews online. If you get it on sale it is very decent value. My biggest disappointment is the bass. It's sooooo soft. Maybe it would be good in a super small room. But yeah if you want strong bass, look elsewhere. Other than that the sound quality is very decent for the price. The surround effects are very nice. Sound could be a little more crisp. Build quality is also excellent for the price. I am wondering what would be a step up from these with strong bass and Atmos support.

Those are solid budget options for a basic upgrade, but if you’re open to another choice that’s usually in the same price range and offers a noticeable step up in real-world use, you might want to consider Ultimea (like the Poseidon D60).

I own a Poseidon D60, and for its price range it performs genuinely well for movies, gaming, and everyday use.

I get where you’re coming from, but I don’t fully agree with that take. I own a Poseidon D60, and for its price range it performs genuinely well for movies, gaming, and everyday use. I also think it’s a bit unfair to dismiss a brand without hands-on experience.Real-world use matters a lot. Not everyone wants or needs to drop flagship-level money to get enjoyable, immersive [sound.At](http://sound.At) the end of the day, “buy once, cry once” works for some people — but for others, good sound at a fair price is exactly the right balance. And Ultimea fits that space pretty well in my book.

Honestly, if your budget can stretch just a little further, the D60 is worth it. It support Dolby Atmos true 5.1 ch. D50 is okay for casual TV, but D60 feels more better

I had both the D50 and D60 for a week during return window — ended up keeping the D60. Bass is cleaner, and I swear the dialogue is clearer even without a dedicated center channel boost. Atmos decoding does add something, especially if your content supports it.

I’m also surprised how few people are talking about Ultimea. I have the D60, not the D80, but for under $160 I honestly didn’t expect this level of performance. Setup was a breeze and the sound quality blew me away for the price.
