Minirigs are great. They are made for DJs. Can use aux and Bluetooth and can connect them to each other. Check out their Instagram and website. I have them.

Youd be crazy to use them as monitors. Perhaps some people don't understand what monitors are actually used for. Minirigs do not play deep, are not flat and sound changes depending on orientation. Probably the same people claiming the uboom l is flat and neutral lol

Thats because they aren't professionals (i assume) and just accept anything they hear on youtube. Monitors in the wrong setting can sound awful. However the minirigs are not monitors. They resolve well however and suit a discerning ear. Just don't use them as monitors or your mix will be crap.

MINIRIG is the smallest powerhouse I know of, can go crazy loud. The best thing is that this power capacity means the sound is super clean at decent volume (maybe 40 - 50%)

I think the minirig has the highest decibels to size ratio you can get, not sure how long the battery will last if you’re using it on a higher volume level though. I have two minirig 3s and they are incredibly impressive speakers

It’s honestly hard to grasp how loud it can get given its size, it doesn’t look like it should be able to get anywhere near as loud as it can. I’m not sure about specific model comparisons, but it is louder and maintains better sound quality than many of its larger competitors. They aren’t cheap, but if budget isn’t an issue you can get two and pair them together, and even get a subwoofer to have a whole 2.1 system that stays fairly portable with the right carrying setup

MiniRigs hands down. Listening to them now. Always an amazing experience. Do yourself a favor and spend an extra $150 and get yourself the 2.1 setup with the sub. You will not regret it one bit.

Finicky sometimes but you can always connect them. Well worth it as a minor hiccup. I have the M3s. The M4s might be better

I love the sound profile of the Minirigs myself. 2 x Minirig 3s in stereo and I'm all good.  I'd say every portable speaker is going to have some compromises though. So your best sounding speaker will depend what kind of music you most enjoy listening to...

The downvotes are always cause the Minirigs are fiddly. Mine are too. That's why I hesitate to recommend them to people.  They are the best sound I've heard in bluetooth speakers though - not to mention sick af in design aesthetic. 😜 After using Minirigs for the better part of 4 years I've got a system that makes them solid enough for me now... but still, I wouldn't begrudge anybody for downvoting a suggestion to use Minirigs because there's a decent chance they've had their own horrible experience with them!

I got 2 minirigs to do the sound for my outdoor wedding. They are awesome and I still use them daily 2 years later. They have a “gain” setting built into the single button you use to power them on so sometimes when they start up they are incredibly loud but other than that the minirigs are very good and I used to use an Anker Soundcore in the past.
