Still actually the 7HZ Zero 2. Bunnys spike in the uppers are not fun, Castor pro bass is a bit odd but enjoyable at least, waner 2 is tooo vocal. Pure and hexa are mid. Pure neither has enjoyable bass or mids. Hexa is shouty. EM6L is thin. Explorer is dark asf. The only one of these I've had moments of "Oh shit" and jumping up because I thought the sound was next to me, was from the Zero 2. My collection goes into the kilobucks
r/iems • Best All Rounder IEMs under $120-$130. ->i actually thought their bass was a bit bloated, but i've used hexas for the past 9 months so i'm probably just used to those.
r/iems • Followed the herd mentality. ->Truthear gate is the best one, the wan er 2 is also good but only for flushed 2 pin connectors
r/iems • Which $20 IEM has the best cable? ->o i had a stroke wtf i read that as truthear pure in your title lol gates are a great set yes. kz zvx pro i've personally been also using and I'm very surprised at all the things you mentioned really . detail, imaging, clarity these were able to provide + full metal build quality for like 12$ if you want a set for the longrun and like a more vocal focused tuning then consider wan'er 2 if those are under 25$, great iem on their own (build quality is pretty cheap though) but you get an excellent cable plus and stellar set of included eartips that people go out of their way to buy on their own to use for much more expensive sets i'd personally take the cheaper zvx pro as its just a sidegrade to the gate but should be a good amount cheaper or spend abit more for the wan'er 2 for the great accessory package
r/iems • should i take truthear gate? ->Tangzu wan er vs this one which one has better sound . i have alredy tangzu also i curious about castor pro
r/iems • The Castor Pro bass was worth every penny for a new IEM user like me ->Wired ones mostly have passive noise cancelling. For your money, tangzu waner 2 lang ang pasok sa budget mo na Matino tumunog.
r/ShopeePH • Best IEMs around ₱1,000? ->better get the version 2 nito.
r/ShopeePH • Best IEMs around ₱1,000? ->IEM is a wrong place to look for soundstage. Yeah there is a difference when you put 15 minutes of critical listening into the "stage" Get waner 2 for great vocal
r/iems • Wider Soundstage with Great Vocals: Truthear Gate, Moondrop Chu II or 7Hz Salnotes Zero? ->TLDR: Just buy them. Great accessories and an even greater set of IEMs I just received my unit of the Wan'er 2 and I'm blown away! I never had the first gen but I did have the Chu 2, but I gave it away. I wanted to get the Sancai tips and thought that I might as well just get the Wan'er 2 since they come with the tips. I thought that I could just give these to a friend if they wanted IEMs (they don’t but anyway…). I opened the surprisingly luxurious packaging for this price point (since the Chu 2 just comes in a random box in some plastic) and was instantly amazed. Accessories: The Saincai tips feel very nice and sound quite good with this set! The others are like the standard tips you can get with any set of IEMs so I don’t think those are very notable. The cable on the other hand feels very nice in hand but tends to be a bit weird when wearing. The earhooks are wound very tightly out of the box, which is quite odd and I didn’t really like since it feels like someone closed a door on my ear (which is of course quite exaggerated but it’s still tight and weird). You could easily follow super*review’s guide on IEM „stancing“ on YouTube though. This will just teach you to reform the earhooks by yourself. Now let’s get into the important stuff! Sound: Bass: This set absolutely slams! The bass has impact and is punchy and clean while also not drowning out the rest of the sound. I was just amazed. I totally did not expect anything like this from a 20$ set but it’s a DD after all… Mids: They sound good, the timbre is good and they sound very pleasant. Personally I would just prefer a bit more but that’s just my preference and these are great for their price. The vocals are also a bit more forward which is very nice Treble: So smooth! Not offensive whatsoever and just smooth! These are also pretty detailed and do sound a bit sparkly sometimes, but that might as well just be a good thing. The extension is also very clean and smooth Conclusion: For 20$ these are an absolute banger! They sound so good and are absolutely an endgame set of IEMs for those that don’t won’t to spend a lot! You absolutely won’t find an actual headphone this good for this amount of money. The accessories are also absolutely amazing for this price and the IEMs are absolutely worth picking up even if you just want the cable and eartips! I hope this made sense and was helpful, since I didn’t see any reviews apart from another user on this subreddit actually talking about these
r/iems • Tangzu Wan'er 2 - The blind buy nobody will regret ->I stopped reading at "Truthear Zero Red", that trash usually goes for $55-65 and "Bass-forward"? did you ever listen that thing? All HBB collabs are known for their bass but the zero red?. It's $60 for an iem with a cheap cable and cheap eartips, with a gigantic nozzle, how do you tip roll with that nozzle?. It's just one of the worst iems for a beginner and totally overpriced, you can get a better cable and eartips with the Tangzu wan'er at 1/3 of the price. It's 2025 with so many options, at this point it's just a meme of this subr recommending that thing
