I have used Supermix4 and they are 8ndeed very nice especially in fps. Then I switched to Blessings3 which are also very nice but also better for music.

r/iems • Are these the “best” gaming iems? any recommendations for a good cable with a mic ->

Well I own supermix 4 : its is highly technical thats for sure …. ( not a VERY audiophile listener but have interest in this hobby ) … thats the first thing I noticed about them thay they are hight technical… very detail can be heard …. It lacks midbass … though not that fan of too much mid bass so its ok… can’t fault vocals…. Vocals seems great … soundstage seems really good for price point

planars are renowned for their clarity . typical planar tuning makes vocals come off as sounding metallic though but ymmv something liek the simgot supermix 4 would be great though. hybrid with harman tuning, female vocals really shine on this set

r/HeadphoneAdvice • In ear monitors with best clarity ~150$ ->

supermix is a good set yeah. usually pure planars like s12 pro aren't rec'd for fps gaming cause many of them have very boosted higher frequencies which can effect staging, not sure how the ultra's hold up though but many use and enjoy the supermix for gaming

There’s a method to the madness…at least for my case. I didn’t wildly trust any “professional” reviewer…I got a few (3) of the community rec’d IEMs…to see if they’d suit me (fit, sound, curiosity) Think the total I spent on those was less than what a Hexa would have cost. I, too, came from BT devices…Beats Studio Pro, Beats Fit Pro…I was done with all the BT junk. Didn’t bother with BT hooks and dongles and such. Compression…power…it’s ALL lacking. Anyway, AFTER listening to my 3 sets for a bit…I went back to “professional” reviews on YT. Watched the review vids of those IEMs…and decided on whose views and opinions I aligned with. From there….I was able to make slightly more informed purchases. Yes, it’s usually best to test drive audio gear in person…and buy from a local outlet with a reputable and dependable return policy. For some, that is not possible. I have disposable income…and can afford several sets of Hexa or even the Supermix 4 on a whim. I didn’t think it was sensible to dive in when there are cheaper AND community recommended sets to try. As for BT…if I’m going to use BT for convenience…I would stick with the usual suspects instead of introducing dongles and ear hooks. BUT…that’s just me

Yeah me too, I have some very expensive sets, like the IE600, and I prefer the EW300 over the IE600... I still prefer my Ziigaat Odyssey, or my Mangird Xenns Top, but damn the Simgot is indeed very very good for the asked price

I’ve been using the Artti T10. For music i like the supermix4 better, but for gaming the T10 is so damn sharp, fantastic.

The Supermix 4 when using it for general video watching. The mid scoop really messes with vocal audio. The Blessing 3 for how bright / sibilant and clinical it was. I think these two are my favorite IEMs in terms of looks and design, but their sounds were disappointing.

While I probably understand where you’re coming from, neutral is at least mathematically represented as a flat frequency curve. But I agree. I have pretty solid studio monitors at home. I thought of complementing it with a somewhat reasonably priced simgot supermix 4 since the curves seemed more Harman like. While it is true to tuning, I’ve realized I care a lot about transient response (spoilt by my other setup) and imaging, not much about soundstage (again influenced by near field monitors). And while the iem does well in imaging, the transients are just not upto mark. But both have their sweet spots depending on how I feel that day
