If you want low profile, get an odd-numbered K Max line board. Make sure it's hot swap. Otherwise, get V or Q (although I would avoid Q cuz it's heavy, as you said, and you plan to travel with it). I would avoid the Razer because it's membrane and loud. Since you're traveling with this board, I doubt the people around you would like to hear the board, too.

You can get a V Max on Amazon and return it if you don't like it.

Keychrons with the Gateron Jupiter Banana are awesome. You can theoretically get the Bananas separately from Gateron, whenever it's on stock.

I bought a Q3 Max with red switches and it was very silent. Be aware, Keychron HE keeb is compatible only with its own HE switches. For me it was a no-go.

You must be looking at the low-profile boards. There are plenty of full-height boards from Keychron... Check the V Max series, you'll get the best bang for buck there.

At this point, I'd only really recommend the 80HE if you go with the Jade Pro switches. If you want an 80HE alternative with an aluminium case, check out the Iqunix EZ63 or EZ60 (obviously no F row, though). It's around $200 with the Gateron Magnetic Jade switches and $230 I think with the Magnetic Jade Pros. The Keychron K2 HE and Q1 HE are also supposed to be really good, but I don't have first-hand experience with them yet. If you're only doing casual gaming, though, there are better options that will make typing feel MUCH better and won't impact your gaming. Something from the Keychron Q Max line would do well.

That GitHub page must save you so much time. I love it. Yeah, really there are so many great options these days. I just recommended the Keychron Q Max series because it's hard to go wrong there. There's room for mods, but it already sounds pretty good out of the box, and the overall build quality is really solid imo.

Get a Keychron V5 or Q5 if you can stretch the budget. Barebones V5 is $60 right now so plenty left over for your preferred set of keycaps and switches.

As you are saying, the reason why you need to replace your keyboard is because you are buying cheaper keyboards. It's probably worth spending 150£ on one that will last you 5 years and that you will change because you want to rather than because you need to! I'd check into keychron UK and look at their mechanical keyboards. They are great quality and if you get a hotswapable keyboard you will not only be able to change the keycaps but also the switches themselves. 

If you want to match in icue/match RGB, the K70 MAX and Nightsabre is what I recommend. But if you want properly good stuff, Keychron Q Max series and any of their mice. But RGB on those are worse.
