Corsair - K70 PRO TKL High-Performance Hall Effect Programmable Gaming Keyboard with Rapid Trigger

That one has game specific presets,  right?  I used a Corsair at the demo booth for Deep Rock Galactic, and throwing a flare caused a flare of white light from around that key. Looked so cool.

They also had a massive keyboard display, where they had synced them up to display moving images across like, 16 of them.  I bet there's somewhere to get presets. 

Bought and returned this thing is ass… you have to push these keys to their full depth to register and the travel is far. Returned and bought corsairs new K70 pro with addressable actuation point.

i have the k70 tkl (which is basicly this without num block) and i love it. its a bit expensive imo and you could probably buy (or build) a better sounding one for cheaper but its still good quality and the 8k polling rate is also nice

K70 pro is pretty good. My mouse is the scimitar elite it’s fine not the best but solid.

I loved this keyboard without a doubt. I thought I was upgrading by going to the k100 air wireless. (I absolutely was not, that thing is BADLY made) now I’m enjoying the 70 pro TKL It’s definitely gotta be the best full size keyboard I’ve had so far. I hope you enjoy it!

I've been using a K70 (not the same one) since 2018. Never had key caps pop off. The biggest thing I notice with these is about two years in the LEDs will randomly start to die (for example: the blue led on one switch will die out). Every K70 I've had has followed this pattern like clockwork.

Yeah, dunno. Just an odd thing. Their triangles fail on me constantly also. Those are my two biggest grips with all the Corsair shit I have.

This is not a mechanical keyboard if that matters. It has rubber dome switches according to the product page. As for their refurbs in general, they're probably fine. I used a K70 for years and it never had a problem. I still have it tucked away in the closet. But personally, I've moved away from such huge keyboards in order to reclaim some desk space.

My Corsair k70 finally died and I've been wanting to check out the less gamer looking options. I see yunzii is selling "mystery boards" for 40. I assume this won't be a screaming deal per say but if I genuinely don't know what I like is that a terrible deal? I would probably get two and see what I like and don't like, since if you order two they are guaranteed to be different. Is this dumb? Is there an obvious better thing for me to be doing? Edit. Usage would be coding and gaming, Windows desktop and laptop running cinnamon variant of mintOS.
