SteelSeries - Arctis 7 (2019 Edition)

my arctis 7s from 2019 are starting to feel it's age and i'm looking at a new headset. * **Budget -** roughly 270 euro or 2000 dkk * **Country? -** Denmark * **Platform? -** PC * **Motherboard if on pc (or other audio gear)? -** Z790 UD AX * **Requested Guide:** Gaming Headset(AIO) * **Open back or closed back? -** Doesn't matter Have looked at both the Arctis Nova Pro or the Audeze Maxwell. Must have is chat / game mix

I’ve had arctics 7 for 5 years but recently the ear piece started to break and eventually they were beyond repair. They were the best headphones I’ve ever had so I bought an exact same piece. The audio in left year broke after 1 month. I switched them to new ones thanks to warranty but those broke again within a month. I exchanged them again on a warranty and so far it’s been good for 3 months. Take it as you will. Just sharing my experience

Idk what yall are doing to yalls headsets but I've had my Arctis 7s for around 4 years now and they haven't broken yet. Only issue is battery life has gone down

Steel Series Artics 7 Pro or Logitech G Pro X. The logitech is kind of expensive but the only headset I can use while walking around my house or even parts of my backyard, worth it off that alone.

i used the steelseries arctis 7 for the longest time. I went with them because they used a ski band for the head which relieved a lot of pressure and headaches a traditional headset would cause (for me at least). Great audio quality, wireless, and ok ish mic.

Arctis 7 is all I’ve known. I’ve had mine for 7 years now and they are still great. Only problem is they no longer seem to hold a charge longer than 6min. May have to do something DIY with battery replacement. Because I don’t have the money to buy a new headset and it would be the Arctis Pros.

If you can find them for a good price the audeze maxwell i would 100% recommend. Honestly ive used most of the high end gaming headsets and there sound and EQ just have so many issues. Ill also add the build quality tend to break or Fall apart in the same areas. But I'd probably go with arctis 7 line for consoles as the arctis nova pros just arent worth the price.
