Although taking good care of my V2 Pro 2023 model, the headband clamp has snapped and the product is unusable. I raised a ticket with Razer and they wrote back that my country is unsupported. If so they why do they export to these unsupported countries and why do they have resellers listed on their website?!!

I found a replacement “stronger” bracket on Etsy. Seems like a widespread problem if people are selling custom solutions.

I used it for couple of hours gaming and a few hours of WFH calls every week. They stayed indoor on a headset stand. Very gently used. Almost look brand new except for the broken band now.

I spent more on gen 2 specifically for the better mic.

I've had mine for about 3 months now, I bought a new strap because the stock one was giving me a headache. I still have issue with them feeling like they are clamping too hard on my head and glasses tho. I have one of the really flexible meshy plastic comfort straps and have one side set to the middle, one side set to the top any looser and it feels like its gonna fall off my head, any tighter and it feels like a vice clamp. That's literally my only complaint. The sound is phenomenal. No issue with speakers, hardware/software or anything buggy on that. If they didn't weigh so much they'd be perfect. But I put on my old Razr Blackshark V2 pros, adjusted the equalizer and in comparison it sounds like actual crap. If I could get this comfort thing under control they'd be absolutely perfect. Sometimes I wish I could exchange them for something lighter but then I want the same kind of sound too. So I guess I'll put up with it until I find a solution.

Idk what yall do to headsets. I used my 2023 version until the 2025 came out. No issues at all. Now use the 2023 for work

I’ve had the blackshark v2 pro for like 3 years now (it replaced my wireless arctic pro 7, which had a worse mic imo) and love it. Like a lot of ppl here I use a separate mic for my voice BUT the mic is surprisingly good for a wireless headset. I had no idea it was that good either until a friend asked me about the quality and it dawned on me I never used it. He said (let me preface this by saying most of our friends use high quality desktop arm mics) it sounds like a cheaper desktop mic (not a bad thing at all!), but better than what we would normally expect from a headset mic. Comfort wise it also has great breathable cushions, I hated the ski goggle strap that my arctis came with. I generally get fatigued wearing any headset, between it squeezing my fatass head and the weight, can get uncomfortable, so I’m in the process of getting gaming earbuds (arctic gamebuds)

Bit of a necro but just wanted to throw in my experience from this evening. Had a pair of Razer BlackShark V2 Pro's for about 9 months, I can't fault the audio or microphone in anyway (I am not a huge audiophile mind you). What I will say is that the plastic bracket that connects the actual earphones to the headband exploded on me this evening as I took them off. They are well looked after, always on a stand - never laid flat, never wrenched off my head. Bit surprised by it - but I do have quite a large head, so maybe that was a contributing factor. This could be a one off but just letting people know in case they are looking for something long term.

@op I have the ath-m50x bt2, best headphones I've ever owned. I had the razer blackshark v2 pro before this, but the charging port went out, or had some other electrical issues like a month after I got them... Quite sad as I loved how they looked and sounded. They're my blender hearing protection now haha. I do have a blue desk mic tho so if you don't, I might consider other headphones. Also, I would consider not doing Bluetooth as the above person isn't, I have issues in certain games with the Bluetooth protocols in windows. Black ops 6 and rocket League are the easiest example, as soon as a match starts and I connect to voice chat, bluetooth immediately and fully crashes until I restart my computer. System Bluetooth settings get laggy, I can turn off Bluetooth but it won't turn back on and it shows no Bluetooth adapter. It is a known issue, and for most turning off hands free telephony in windows fixes, but def doesn't for me. This however doesn't happen in most games and ABI is amazing with them as are most games. I have my old hyper x cloud 2 wired for those games XD.

The blackshark v2 pro sounds worse than the kraken v3 pro though you can check Crinacle and rtings review and measurements on it also the kraken is built better than the blackshark aswell still cracks under stress at the hinges but only a hairline crack doesn't disintegrate like the blackshark does Also the blackshark is limited to a 6db eq either way in synapse and the kraken has a 12db limit so you get more flexibility with customisation of sound
