Potensic - ATOM 2

Everyone sticking with DJI, while they're risking being banned by fall in usa, including replacement parts. And potensic atom 2 was just 360$ at Costco with 3 batteries, simultaneous charging and plenty of spare pieces, case and strap for the controller.

That's good to hear. Mine will arrive today after 3pm and have already put aside 2hrs for tomorrow to get into it and learn all its controls. One thing I'll say is that I hate all the bashing on it from DJI fanboys. I wanted a drone for a while but never got the chance to do research till recently, and though it would be too expensive to get into. However for what you pay, especially with the costco deal they had till july 11th it was a no brainer for me, even at 400rn its a good deal. As a truck driver I know I'm gonna have a blast taking some footage of some of the cool places I travel to or quirky spots I gotta back into. The AI fallow features is what sold me on it tho, something only a lot more expensive DJI drones have.

Yep. I have the ATOM 2. Great drone. I do have DJI also.

I love my Pontensic ATOM 2. Great small drone. I do have an Air 3S but wanted something smaller that was not DJI, mainly bc I am concerned with this ban crap.

I'm a (complete) newbie, and cannot speak to DJI at all. But, being worried about the ban (and the pricing) I chose a Potensic Atom 2 for my first drone. I've seen it called a "DJI knockoff" and it doesn't appear to have all the same features as the DJI it's competing with (Mini 4k/Mini 2 SE), but it cost about 25% less for the fly more kit on Amazon. I had it out on the beach on a mildly windy day, and it flew steady as a rock, shot some gorgeous video. Watching it hold position in a mild (5mph?) wind was pretty impressive, it was really active, and you can't see any of it in the video. (Again, I'm probably exposing my ignorance here.)

POTENSIC Atom2 is backup to my M4P

Have an Atom2 as backup to my M4P. Minor differences in tech but honestly, shoots great video and flies great. Feels cheaper in the hand but for far less $$ vs the M4P; the difference is negligible. Even does some automated video shots that the M4P doesn't.

Potensic atom 2 drones are available on Amazon, it’s a great little drone. Not a DJI but almost as good for the price. I have the Atom 2 and DJI mini 4K, both are great drones.

You can get Autel and Potensic off of aliexpress easily. Just got a Atom 2 and my work ordered an Evo II 640 and they both shipped from US warehouses

I have the Atom 1 and it's fantastic. The Atom 2 is even better all around. Super easy to fly, great camera, good battery life, etc. It's a high quality drone. It's comparable to any of the DJI Mini-series drones.

I wish that the Atom 2 :could: use gps tracking. The SE had it. It’s a somewhat niche case, but having the drone follow a vehicle is easier with gps tracking. The AI tracking loses it every time a tree gets between you and the camera’s field of view. GPS tracking did fine with that. It’s my only complaint of the Atom 2, which is otherwise superior to the SE. Hopefully it is something that they can add with a firmware update.

Me having a mini 4 pro, Neo 2, Potensic atom 2, hover air pro max and air 3s and the air 3s I got for a good deal but this hobby is expensive I will say that, and I’m considering getting an avata 360 or the antigravity as I like filming In 360 lol
