DJI anything is more or less the answer. They have their quirks, but everything else comes with less support and more caveats. If you’re just starting out, a Mini is perfect.

Pretty huge improvement IMHO. Mini 4 Pro vs Mini 5 Pro [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T\_qZORjzSHw](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_qZORjzSHw)

I was not able to use the Goggles 3 with the new Mini 5 Pro. All devices are on the latest firmware version and the Goggles 3 only shows the option to connect to the Mini 4 Pro. I'll guess/hope DJI will release a FW update to support the Mini 5 Pro soon.

I would say mini 5 pro or my favorite air 3s. I would go with the 60mph beast.

Get a mini 5 pro then, it’s right around the corner. Unless you are in the USA then Mini 4 pro is your only option except if you don’t mind doing extra logistics or a quick international trip

As a beginner emphasizing on videos, you have two best options: (i) Mini 4 (or 5) Pro, if you're okay with on camera; or (ii) Air 3s if you prefer to also have a telephoto. In my experience (I've had two drones in my life, one with and one without a telephoto), I'd certainly need one. But everyone thinks differently. The prices of these two are not that much different, so I'd suggest you choose based on that feature.

Honestly the mini 4k is a good little entry level drone. It’s cheap, fun, and it works. Really, the drones between the mini 4k and the mini 5 aren’t big enough jumps for the price difference. The mini 3 is better than the mini 4k, but not *that* much better. The mini 4 is better, but then you might as well spend a few hundred more on the mini 5. There are other drones between that, like the Air 3s, that are a decent middle ground. But if you’re going to spend over $1k, why not just go to the mini 5. That’s just my opinion though.

What I would recommend… DJI mini 4k for the cheapest entry. It will let you get a feel for things and find out if you want more. DJI mini 5. If you’re going to spend money, then just go with the newest option. It has a lot of the nice features and it’s portable. DJI Air 3s. If portability isn’t an issue, then the air 3s is a little better. - Although there a couple of drones between the 4k and 5 pro, but the quality up grades are minor and don’t have many better features. Mainly obstacle avoidance, which the mini 3 is missing. You could spend money on a mini 4, but for a little more just get the mini 5p. After the air 3s, you would want to make bigger upgrades to the Mavic 3 and Mavic 3 enterprise series. Which is way more than you need IMO
