70mai - A810

Had 2 Nextbase 622 and they were shite plus crazy expensive. Purchased 2 70 mai front and rear cams for a quarter of the price and they are miles ahead. That said Viofo are excellent, if you follow Ashley Neal on YT he has discount codes.

Viofo are the dogs bollocks, 70 mai are quite good and cheap. Nextbase are expensive and absolutely shite.

Check nyo po 70mai na brand. Before bumili lang ako sa shopee nung nagsale tapos pina install ko na lang. Daming installer sa fb marketplace na naghohome service.

Not sure with the exact model. Pero check nyo po shopee ni 70mai madami po dun, pili na lang.

I just changed my 70mai a810-2 for TK800 model. I've had 70mai (xiaomi) since a500 and went through almost all models beside Omni, they saved me 4x already from irresponsible drivers and payed off themselves numerous times. I'm upgrading due to the 3'rd channel (beside front and back they added IR interior cam loke Ventrue) just because of AI cameras who wants to take money claiming "no seatbelt" (which I have all-time).

70mai a810 gamit ko. so far satisfied nmn ako.

It’s likely that the dashcam provided by Hyundai does not have Sony starvis 2 sensor. 70mai A510, A810 etc all have it. It makes a huge difference in clarity, especially at night time. I’d get it from outside.  Passenger electric seats and driver memory are very nice, though. Wireless CarPlay is through an adapter, so one of your usb ports will be blocked. 

I have used both brands along with a hardware kit. The 70 Mai battery tends to die after about two years, but if you’re using a hardware kit, there shouldn't be any issues. You can find replacement batteries on AliExpress. On the other hand, my Viofo dashcam stopped working it might be due to the heat , including the replacement, even though they experienced the same issue. My car is always parked in the sun. However, I have found that Viofo's customer support is better than that of any other brand. I'm not sure about their support in the UAE.

70mai A810 + Dongar connector

70mai A810 on my 2023 Forester. Used a Dongar adaptor to take power directly from the auto dimming mirror.

Look into Dongar connector and alike. It'll power from auto dimming mirror socket For dashcam, I like 70mai but the best kind you can get is likely one with Sony Starvis 2 sensor for optimal license plate capturing.

Can attest to the quality of 70Mai, I've been using their A810 for a year now and it's been real good. Especially like the collision warning and safety distance features.
