This is the best one. Although it has lithium ion battery. But many are using it with no issues.

Qubo has super capacitor. Lithium ion tends to get hotter. But 70 Mai 510 many are using in India. So no issues with that.

It’s likely that the dashcam provided by Hyundai does not have Sony starvis 2 sensor. 70mai A510, A810 etc all have it. It makes a huge difference in clarity, especially at night time. I’d get it from outside.  Passenger electric seats and driver memory are very nice, though. Wireless CarPlay is through an adapter, so one of your usb ports will be blocked. 

Budget? Cameras in general aren’t cheap and you get what you pay for. If you want the current state of art in image quality on both front and back, redtiger f77 comes with IMX678 sensors on both cameras. This is the cheapest I’ve found with dual 4k starvis2 sensors. ₹26k. You can obviously go down from there. From dual channel to single channel, from 4k to 2k and 1080p, from IMX678 to lower tiers of starvis2 sensors. FWIW, 70mai A510 is the most popular dashcam by some margin. Should cost less than ₹15k for dual channel and less than ₹10k for front only. Has a 3k IMX675 on front which is very good for night recording. Unless you’re pinching pennies, I’d steer clear of systems which don’t have at least one Starvis 2 sensor.

It's a simple job. They'll tuck most of the wires in between interior panels and door seal biddings. Just make sure it looks clean. I see only 1 inch of wire each attached to camera and a further couple of inches in the power outlet. Everything else is tucked in neatly. If your car is in warranty (and maybe even if not), I'd recommend against going for hardwire option. While it has some advantages (like parking surveillance), most installers will cut some wire to attach it instead of installing it properly in a fuse box.

Congratulations!! For your question: It depends. If you're okay with a "plug into USB" to use one , get the 70mai 510 or above. (Dual channel). Ask the SC if they can install it in hardwired mode. If you want a hardwired one for parking mode, Hyundai has their in-house offering : Hyundai Mobis MH7 dashcam. It gets the job done , but is expensive for what it offers.

If you want to use dashcam for parking monitoring also i.e. it will need hardwiring better go for official dashcam to avoid issue with warranty. If that's not the case you can go for any dashcam. Just use the 12V port or USB port to power it like any other accessory. I use 70mai a510 which is good.

Many say this but i haven’t experienced any heat related issues yet, if you stay in extreme temperature areas then you may want to double check. I have three 70mai dash-cams in all. The 70mai dual channel(front & rear) A510 In my Ford 7 Seater, and a single channel M200 Dashcam3 in my polo. Reasons i chose these above anything was the Starvis 2 Sensor for absolute clear images day or night. These can be hardwired to capture in parked mode, and the app is easy to use amongst all.
