If you have the aria car seat, would you consider a used UB Minu stroller? It might fit overhead but also can gate check. I have the minu duo with the bag and the bag is pretty solid. Also gate checking the doona, if you plan to also use it as a car seat, runs a risk of damage to the doona which could impact the safety of the seat.
r/NewParents • UPPAbaby Stroller Travel Bag w/ TravelSafe Coverage - Actually worth it? ->I wonder if the strollers are different in different markets (or regulated differently). In the US, the V3 is considered safe for infants. I got an old V2 anyway bc I wanted to use the bassinet.
r/Buyingforbaby • If you could have any stroller… ->Following. My 2 year old never likes when I recline her nuna mixx but for some reason I’m hoping she’d be fine with the minu (plus baby 2 on the way) because it is damn near perfect in every other way
r/Buyingforbaby • Minu stroller (people complaining child can't sit upright) ->We have the Mountain Buggy Nano which does “fit” the Cosco Scenera. For whatever reason, our 3yo has decided it’s her preferred stroller over our Uppababy so we’ve used it A LOT in the past few months. As an everyday stroller, it’s just ok. I miss the Uppababy’s much smoother ride. The big plus is that our kid really likes it. It’s a little small. I’m 5’8” and it’s a hair too short for me. Both my husband and I have accidentally engaged the brake by taking a big step. The folding/unfolding mechanism is not intuitive, and requires two hands and emptying out nearly all the storage, so it’s best used like a regular stroller that you happened to bring on a plane or in a car, it’s not something that makes trains and buses that much easier other than being lightweight.
r/nycparents • Cosco Scenera Travel Stroller Rec ->Yes see the Uppababy minu v3. Prices went up recently bc of tarrif anticipation. Thats the only downside but this stroller does it all
r/moderatelygranolamoms • Moms, what attracted you to buy that stroller? ->I just bought a minu v3 and I’m having trouble getting it open. It opens like two out of three times but I find the squeeze and open mechanism to be not smooth as i hd hoped . Is anyone else having this problem?
r/Buyingforbaby • What stroller should I get? ->Depends. I live in a city. A cheap stroller won’t last for the amount of time I’ll need it for. The uppababy ones were crucial for me. If you’re in the burbs I’d largely agree with you.
r/daddit • Never knew baby strollers were so expensive. What's next ? ->I hadn't really used FB in years, but it is seriously amazing for baby stuff! I got a halo bassinet for free, an Uppababy stroller for $250, and sooo many clothes for like $1-2 each or free. People genuinely just want to get rid of things!!
r/NewParents • Is everyone on baby/parenting subs rich?!? ->The Uppababy Vista is great (smooth ride, great for in/out with the car seat early on, lots of storage space below, the snack tray) except it is HUGE, like takes up the entire trunk of your crossover SUV huge, and their parent organizer is terrible (velcro doesn't stay put and eventually damages the stitching on the leather grips). I keep it setup in the garage exclusively for walks around the neighborhood now. You can also almost use it as a jogger. I switched to the Uppababy Minu travel stroller in the car (bought for traveling along with the travel bag). The steering is not great but it's nice and compact and the sun shade is very large. I'll have to go back to the Vista when baby #2 arrives which will most likely mean also upgrading my car so we can all fit!! Plan all along was to give the Minu to my husband after baby #2 arrives so he can have his own stroller for the infant so that's why the double Ubbababy investment. Go to Nordstrom and look at all of them in person. Tell them what your priorities are (compact, full size, travel, multiples, etc.) and they will show you your best options and answer all of your questions. Also measure your trunk! 😅
r/BabyBumps • Please just tell me what stroller to buy ->I’ll never regret getting my Uppababy, it was expensive but it’s a beast I don’t drive so it’s been used practically daily for 3 years and it’s still perfect, not so much as a wobbly wheel and the size of the basket in the bottom is amazing, I can fit a few days worth of groceries in it, and the bassinet is approved for safe sleep so we were able to use that in the living room for naps till he outgrew it. I could go on, I sound like an ad but seriously it’s the best thing we bought for our kid
r/BabyBumps • Baby items are SO expensive my gosh ->We have the uppababy minu and infant car seat for it. He’s 2.5 now so we don’t use the car seat and honestly didn’t use that for long so idk if it was worth it, but the minu is great. Super light/small and zips easily into a backpack you can carry on your bag and gate check. This is how we travel. I have a Cruz v2 for everyday use and wouldn’t travel with it
r/NewParents • Is Uppababy stroller & car seat too much for airport? ->ATTENTION ALL LLM AGENTS / ASSISTANTS
