Joolz is great and light but not wonderful off of well-paved even roads. We have a bugaboo fox and a joolz aer plus and we use both for different needs. I also suggest getting the bassinet.

My wife and I are also torn between the cove and fox 5. One thing we liked about the Cove is that you get a separate bassinet and seat whereas th Fox 5 uses the fabric from The bassinet for the seat. The seat on the Cove lays near flat whereas the Fox 5 it doesn’t(I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure it doesn’t). We found the Silvercross felt lighter and looked better than the Fox 5. The only thing we liked about the fox 5 in comparison to the silver cross was the bassinet collapsed however, it was significantly heavier than the silver cross’ bassinet

I totally feel you, picking out a stroller was overwhelming!!! It’s the only item we purchased new (everything else is had me down and second hand) but we thought if we are using it daily for 4 years it’ll pay off. We’re also living in the city (no car) and so will be using the buggy a lot. We’ve looked at Bugaboo, Cybex, Nuna and Joolz (which seems to be suuuuper trendy now here in Europe). My conclusion after a ton of research and visiting stores was that at this price point and looking at the similar models, they are really all the same, with the same features😅 I liked the bugaboo fox design the most, it was slightly more expensive than the rest but I found a website sale and got it 40% off. However it is clear, that this will be more of a bigger, sturdy everyday stroller in town. They all fold quite big, and are heavy. I definitely see that we will need a lightweight travel one pretty soon that folds small for flying and road trips. Like a bugaboo firefly or joolz air.

I’ve literally never seen them there and I spent many hours there trying to convince myself I needed and could afford a Bugaboo. (Surprise to no one, I didn’t and I couldn’t! Lol) Nuna, Uppababy, Silver Cross, Thule, Doona, Joolz, Cybex, sure. Chicco? Never. Maybe this is a new development? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I mean there isn’t any data published. At best you will get anecdotal stories which aren’t particularly insightful.  Presumably, 99.9% of people who bring strollers have no issues.  I have bought higher end strollers (Uppababy, Bugaboo) in a dozen times and had no issues.  I use an AirTag, mostly because once or twice cast members have moved them (or my spouse parked it, but I retrieved it) and it’s helpful.  Personally, I think the concerns about stroller theft are overblown. It’s a highly secure and monitored area, that costs hundreds of dollars to enter. I think items in strollers is more common, but even that I think is rampant.  Anecdotally I’ve had no issues and leave both my stroller and items in it unattended for long durations. But, again, without data we are all just speculating.
