AirFanta - AirFanta 3Pro

Yeah, as others are pointing out the pandemic is far from over. Air purifiers are a great idea. We have them in every room of the house. Get them to cover double the sq ft than the room you’ll use it in so that you can get the same coverage on lower settings. The Levoit Core series is good, has a small footprint and is pretty affordable. I’ve sent these to family. Shout out for the [Air Fanta 3Pro](https://air-fanta.com/collections/all) because it folds down and is portable for travel. [Clean Air Kits](https://www.cleanairkits.com/collections/shop-all) are also awesome. I just got the [Exhalaron](https://www.cleanairkits.com/products/exhalaron) to use for doctors appointments etc.

I have a PureZone mini that I take to doctor and dentist appointments. I just got an Air Fanta 3 Pro for my room for the rare occasion I have to travel. Edit: Why the downvotes? Are these not good? Is it because I got the AFP3 to occasionally travel? I’m a 4.5 year long hauler. I don’t get to do much but when I do I try to be as safe as possible. Whatever the case, I’d appreciate knowing more instead.

So for portability, the AirFanta 3Pro would be your best bet. Running it on high sounds like you're torturing a computer, but its your best overall option on portability and efficiency. For the house, if you're only looking to filter out covid, its kind of hard because it takes X number of air changes (CADR) to effectively filter out the air, and that takes time relative to how fast and efficient your purifier is. You can't just plop a unit down and run it for 5 minutes then poof, the covid is gone. Also, I'd suggest running them in the home constantly, just to filter out allergens like dust and mold and whatnot. That way they're constantly on the hunt to filter the covid out and you can just move one over to wherever the "problem" is. If you have people at the house mask, especially strangers, it would eliminate a lot of these potential issues.

Best value for max CADR? AirFanta 3PRO $150 USD - adjustable speed, travels well, newer version can be used with power bank. Slight whine noise at highest speed. Want nicer looking/no whine? North Box or Clean Air Kits Standard unit, purchase off Amazon? Lago, hands down. I've bought 8? for various family members. I've bought air filters for ages due to allergies, and the only thing it doesn't do better than the Austin Air I have is clean smoke/odors. But I also bought 6 Lagos for the price of the last Austin Air replacement filter I got.

AirFanta 3PRO has the best CADR for its size and cost. On higher speeds it can have a slightly higher pitch that may be annoying.

 Recently got the Airfanta 3 Pro. Easily disassembled for travel, has a high filtration rate and runs pretty quiet. Was within your budget too. I’d check it out. The engineer that made it posts on X and Reddit all the time so if you’re ever researching it you’ll see why he designed it the way he did.

I have an air Fanta 3 pro. It sits on a side table right beside my bunnies cage. It’s very quiet and works extremely well. I think you will be pleasantly surprised by how little bunnies smell. There is no smell from our bun’s enclosure. We have the air purifier to catch fluff and dander as my husband is very allergic. If you get a very fluffy bunny, I recommend the air purifier to catch the wispy floating fluff balls.

Just get an air purifier with only the basics, no ionisation as that can contribute to ozone and make air quality worse. I actually made a mini CR boxes for myself and took it back with me to TW visiting family. It's amazing how dirty the filter gets only after 2 weeks in Taiwan. After 1 month it's as dirty as 6 months where I normally live. If you can source filters and pc fans, a dc adapter, and have DIY skills, you can definitely make your own most bang for buck in terms of CADR and power. I bought an AirFanta 3 pro for the house, but I don't know where to buy it from in Taiwan. That's only because the local options available here suck. There are heaps of diff brands and options in TW. Housefresh (on YouTube) has great reviews you could look at. Good luck! I didn't realise how much a difference clean air is until I started using purifiers.

If aesthetics and noise levels are important to you, Coway ProX for the main living space (assuming it’s large-ish) and any Coway “medium spaces” unit (use their website to filter) for the Bedroom. Total ~$1k. If aesthetics and noise levels are not important, two AirFanta 3Pro, run on Medium-High, about $400. If aesthetics are not important but noise is, four AirFanta 3Pro, run on Low or Medium-Low, about $800. If your budget is a little flexible and you want the highest CADR with the smallest footprint and lowest noise, a SMART AIR BLAST - MKII for the main living space (about $1,100) and any Coway “medium spaces” unit. Total, about $1,500.
