Foodi pressure cooks just fine Depends. Any device with "air fry" mode is going to be a compromise compared to a real air fryer. Personally I find the Foodi's two lid system to be clunky and annoying to deal with. I pretty much just use my convection oven instead of the foodi. I use a stovetop pressure cooker myself. But I definitely wouldn't recommend the foodi for mainly pressure cooking because the air fryer lid is permanently attached. So that would be pretty much always in the way.
r/PressureCooking • Instant Pot vs Ninja Foodi vs Separate Air Fryer: Best for Pressure Cooking (Mostly) and Air Frying (Sometimes)? ->I’ve had mine for years can’t beat them
r/CasualIreland • Good people of Irish Reddit! Seeking recommendations for an air fryer ->The ninja went on a double sale (I guess?) right now so we bought it. $278 CAD We often cook meat and vegetables so I think the dual oven style will work great for us. We may consider a small air fryer in the future for small stuff though.
r/airfryer • Buying new appliances, should I get a dedicated air fryer and/or countertop oven? ->I ended up buying the ninja Dual Door 12-1. When I went back and looked it was a further $40 off from the already on sale price so it was a no brainer.
r/airfryer • Buying new appliances, should I get a dedicated air fryer and/or countertop oven? ->I used it last night. Love it! It's so much quieter than my last air fryer. One thing I noticed is the top isn't an air fryer. If I had been paying attention I would have noticed this! It's more of a toaster oven. It did heat up quick!
r/airfryer • Buying new appliances, should I get a dedicated air fryer and/or countertop oven? ->The top doesn't air fry. It's just a toaster oven. The bottom oven is the air fryer. I thought both would have a fan.. it's not a big deal though.
r/airfryer • Buying new appliances, should I get a dedicated air fryer and/or countertop oven? ->I have two Ninja air fryers that don’t have teflon. A Foodi and Foodi 6 in 1 (it toasts, air fries, etc).
r/parrots • are ninja air fryers safe? ->I have the Ninja Foodie. It can grill, bake, dehydrate, roast, and air fry. Nine times out of ten, I will be using it especially in the summer when I don’t want to turn the oven on.
r/Cooking • Do you have an air fryer? Should I get one? ->I have a Ninja foodi and a Ninja toaster style air fryer. I love the Foodi for home fries and baking small cakes and as a rice cooker. I use it nearly daily. We got the toaster style one for toasting bread, for roasting vegetables, and baking small pizzas. Like every appliance, you have to consider your space and what you cook. For us, it's been great.
r/Cooking • What are your thoughts on Air Fryers? ->We have a Ninja Foodie - it bakes, toasts, broils, air-fries…
r/Cooking • Should I buy a microwave, toaster oven, or air fryer for my tiny kitchen? I can only pick one….. ->the ninja foodi is awesome!
r/airfryer • I analyzed Reddit for the 20 most recommended air fryers in the past year ->I had a Foodie for a few years until it stopped working. It was a great pressure cooker and a decent air fryer but I am much more satisfied with separate devices now.
