For two people the 4.7L is plenty. Dual zone’s only worth it if you’re cooking different foods at once a lot.

I have a small Oster convection toaster oven for pizza and things that won't fit in the air fryer, and then I have a 5 quart ninja pro that I got from Walmart that works really well. A wall socket can only put out 1750 watts max, if you want your food to cook quickly, an airfryer with a basket will provide the quickest results. The airfryer ovens simply don't have enough power at the socket to make air frying fast and convenient, they take too long to heat up.

I have a dedicated air fryer and a ninja air fryer oven thing. The dedicated air fryer is much better at most things, especially meat like chicken thighs. The oven combo is good at veggies, reheating foods, frozen fries, etc. The oven is not better at those things, but the profile of the large rack makes it more convenient. I had a dedicated nice counter oven that quit. I thought the combo would be a good replacement. It's not really. It's not as good as an oven and not as good as an air fryer. But the combination is convenient since I still have the air fryer. The combo absolutely can't replace my dedicated ninja air fryer.

230v or 110v? I'm very happy with the Ninja AF140EU, it has more power than most air fryers and it goes up to 240c, which really makes a difference for me. Heats up quickly and pretty quiet for an air fryer as well. Basket is dishwasher proof and everything. However I believe it's not sold in 110v countries.

[This Ninja](https://www.amazon.com/Ninja-Capacity-Dehydrate-Technology-AF141/dp/B0CSZ7WBYW/) uses ceramic coating. Would you say it's better?

I’ve use a Insta Pot 2 quart air fryer. It worked great for me for 5 years. I just replaced with a 5 quart Ninja. Besides being larger which is no biggie cause it’s just me, I have problems with stuff blowing around in the Ninja which wasn’t an issue with my Instant Pot AF. Also, the old Insta Pot AF had a roast option. I noticed most but not all portable models, no matter the brand, replaced the bake option with dehydrator. Perhaps there are folks who do dehydrate, but I personally don’t know anyone interested in such a feature. I’m thought about gifting the Ninja and going back to a Insta Pot AF EXCEPT the model Ninja I have has a ceramic coating which I love and is supposedly healthier than Teflon.

For two people, a 4–5 qt air fryer is perfect. Ninja and Cosori are reliable and cook more evenly the cheap ones often don’t last. Black Friday usually has solid deals on both brands, so it’s worth waiting.

Does it make a lot of smoke? When we were looking to replace our basket style air fryer we tried a KitchenAid oven and it was horrible, the whole house was full of smoke. We ended up returning it and getting a ceramic ninja.
